INCOMING!
 The
mission of INCOMING! is to spotlight our military and
honor currently serving troops and veterans of all
services. Without these men and women our way of life
would be much different.
There is no continuing plot or story line here. It is a
series of single panel cartoons, sometimes depicting
serving troops, sometimes their families and other time
former service members.
Fun is poked at all the branches with no harm intended.
Combat troops as well as rear echelon types (REMFs) are
highlighted and share the spotlight as well.
Once a week (on weekends) we'll pop smoke and
bring in a replenishment chopper containing a new
cartoon. So come back often and check out the new
updates. |
Artist Bio
 I
started doing freelance gag cartooning in the late 70s.
Over the next 25 years I dabbled in magazine
submissions, doing illustrations for a regional running
magazine and some local stuff. This was done while I
still had a 'day job.' That ended 6 years ago when I was
downsized ... out of a job, not a rapid weight loss
program.
For the past 6 years I've been teaching cartoon drawing
at various after school programs, libraries and art
studios and anywhere else I can brow beat someone into
letting me in.
I've also been producing several regular cartoon

We are a military family. Grandpa and dad were Army, I
was Air Force and my son is a Navy officer. There are
cousins who were in the Marines and Coast Guard. Between
us, we have all the branches covered. - John
